Until pets are adopted, our goal is to have every one in a foster home, instead of a kennel. We need more foster homes to reach that goal! Find out more here.
Addie (1 yr. Heeler mix)Addie has really started to come out of her shell! When she first came into our care she was terrified and didn't want anyone to touch her. Now she's happy, playful, and loves attention! She's still shy around new people, but warms up pretty quickly. Her skin is healing nicely and eventually her fur will grow back. She's already a beautiful girl, but just imagine how amazing she'll look with all her hair back!
Andy (13 wks)Andy buys his cuteness in bulk and wears all of it at once. He's friendly towards other cats and wants to play. He's especially fond of other kittens and would do best in a home with playful cats who can show him around and keep him entertained.
Archie (Pit Bull/Lab mix, 4 yrs.)This sweet lover boy sure is full of kisses! It is so hard to believe how amazingly forgiving these babies are! Someone poured motor oil on this guy in attempt, we believe, to kill off bugs or mites. He came to us with semi burned skin the shade of purple. He is recovering well and has even started to gain fur back! Archie would do best as an only pet in a home with older children.
Bruno (1 yr. Hound mix)Bruno came to us with shattered pelvis on the right side after being hit by car. He is recovering nicely in his foster home. He is fantastic with kids, dogs and cats.
Buddy (8years, Terrier mix)This handsome, regal gent is Buddy. He is dog and people friendly, but likes to chase cats. He is also almost deaf and would need a family with understanding of the anxieties that can cause in dogs.
Diego (1 yr. Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix)Diego is a super sweet boy who gets along great with people and other dogs. He's friendly, playful, and just wants to please. Soon he'll be getting his leg repaired and will need to be on restricted activity for a little while as it heals, but he'll be right as rain after that.
Eddie (4 yrs. Husky/Lab mix)Eddie is a very loving and loyal dog. He's just a little bit shy at first, but he warms up very quickly and loves everyone he meets. He's a sucker for peanut butter and soft bedding. He also gets along well with other dogs, but needs to be in a home without cats. He's pretty chill, but his playful side does come out with enough motivation. His fur is really soft and he would make a great cuddle buddy.
Emmitt (2 yrs, pit/shar pei mix)Emmitt is great with people and good with other dogs with a proper slow introduction. He plays and gets along great with his fosters other dog. His foster says: “Emmitt loves children, walks in the grass, and his creature comforts. He has the shiniest coat we have ever seen. This guy doesn’t let having only 3 legs ruin his day!!! Emmitt loves cuddles. He just loves to be near his humans. He is as loyal as they come. Emmitt is a fan of all belly rubs and loves kids. He is a great nanny dog.”
Faith (12 yrs. Hound)Faith somehow ended up in the city shelter scared and confused without her family. She is 12 years old, heartworm positive, arthritic, has a mass by her tail, abscess on her back and an eye infection. She is currently in a foster home getting pampered.
Harry (1 yr)Harry has a severe case of cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), but is learning to walk better thanks to her foster.
Hazelnut (7 mons. Pit Bull)This sweet girl will melt your heart. All she wants to do is love and to be loved. As a tripawd she's missing a leg, but that won't slow her down, if anything it will make her play twice as hard. She is good with other dogs and absolutely loves people. She needs a comfortable couch to sleep on and a yard to run in.
Jasmine (1 yr)This sweet little girl was brought to us with a gaping wound near the base of her tail. We later learned that the wound was most likely caused by another animal, but it's hard to say what exactly. She's very curious and affectionate. She will make a wonderful addition to any family.
Johnny (Male, 1 yr.)This handsome boy was believed to have been hit by a car. If so he definitely was a lucky guy! His injuries were mostly superficial. The injury around his eye has recovered nicely even if he does still look a little rough. He had 2 broken toes on his front left paw and so his dew claw and inner most toe had to be amputated. Once he's fully recovered he'll be able to walk on it just and be a normal cat. We're not sure yet how he'd be with other animals yet, but he loves people.
Katia (Female, 18 wks)This beautiful little girl came from the Sapulpa shelter with a degloved lower jaw. She is currently in a loving foster home, enjoying a normal kitten life with her foster brothers and sisters. She does enjoy the other kittens, but she is probably okay as an only kitten as well.
Keena (5 yrs. Black Lab)Keena is an older girl, so if you're looking for a more chill dog to just hang out on the couch and watch tv then Keena is your girl. When she first came to us she had really bad flea dermatitis and her skin was red and blotchy, and a good part of her fur was missing. The redness is completely gone now, but it will be a while before her fur grows back in. She's so beautiful now, just imagine how gorgeous she'll be with a full coat!
Mini (7 yrs.)Sweet girl Mini was found very sick as she was barely surviving living out in the cold weather. She has come a long way and is doing really well in her foster home. Her foster mom says "Mini is a sweet little girl that enjoys head scratches and cuddling up next to you in a quiet house. She is FIV+ and requires being an only cat or with other FIV kitties. Mini is dog friendly."
Noel (1 yr, Pit Bull mix)She's a little shy around new people at first, but warms up pretty quickly. She's very playful and loves to chew so you'd better have plenty of nyla bones or other hard objects she can chew on safely. No stuffed animals, cloth toys of any kind, or rawhide! Basically she's not allowed to have anything that's easily swallowed but hard to digest.
Peter Barker (6 mons, lab/boxer mix)Peter Barker has the biggest smile and absolutely loves everyone he meets including other dogs. The jury is still out on cats. He loves to bark at them, but whether or not that just means he wants to play remains to be seen.
He's a smart boy and would be easy to train once his leg is fully healed.
