Animal Aid was founded in Tulsa in 1961, and has offered animal welfare-related services to the community ever since. Today Animal Aid is the only organization in Tulsa that stands ready to take in sick or injured animals without owners, day or night.

Volunteer - you can make a difference!

Giving your time and talent to a cause you believe in can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life. Volunteering can have a positive effect on your community AND yourself. Volunteers are important to Animal Aid. By volunteering a Saturday of your time to help show animals at Petco at 41st & Yale, you help find homes for many dogs & cats. Need a speaker for your group?

Animal Aid has qualified speakers that can educate young people as well as adult groups on the proper care and treatment of pets. We can talk about the efforts to control the pet overpopulation problem in Tulsa, or problems you may have training a puppy.
